Our role is to join what He is already doing. This requires humility. It requires that we arrive as learners before we arrive as teachers. When we approach people with that posture — genuinely curious, genuinely respectful, and genuinely willing to serve — we often find that God has already been preparing the ground long before our feet ever touched the soil.

Reflection: Have you ever entered a situation assuming you were bringing God to it, only to discover He was already there? What did that reveal to you about your own assumptions?

Application: Before your next conversation, meeting, or interaction with someone who does not yet know Jesus, pause and pray: "God, show me what You are already doing in this person's life, and help me join it."

Paul's series of questions in Romans 10 builds toward a single, unavoidable conclusion: the mission requires participation. Someone must go. Someone must preach. Someone must be sent. And behind every person who goes, there is a community that made it possible. The person who prays faithfully, gives generously, and encourages a missionary is not on the sidelines of the mission. They are part of the team. Paul declares that the feet of those who carry the good news are beautiful. But those feet do not move without a sending community behind them. Your prayers, your giving, and your encouragement are not small things. They are the mission.

Some are called to pray with such faithfulness that the work is undergirded from their living rooms. None of these roles is less significant than another. The mission belongs to the whole church, and the question each of us must answer is not whether we have a part, but whether we are willing to take it.

Reflection: What is your part in the mission right now? Are you actively living it out, or have you been waiting for a clearer calling before you engage?

Application: Set aside time this week to pray specifically about your role in God's mission. Ask Him plainly: "What are You asking me to do? Go? Give? Pray? Send?" Then write down what comes to mind and take one concrete step toward it before the week ends.
