The Power of Patience

Reflecting Jesus is not easy. Therefore, it is important to keep in mind friends that we can try as hard as we want in all these areas to control our tongue to clothe ourselves with humility but the reality is we can’t do it through our own effort and our own ability. In fact reflecting Jesus has nothing to do with us but has everything to do with the Holy Spirit (which we possess as believers in Christ) working through us. Remember, reflecting Christ in all of life’s challenges is only done through our ability to step aside and to let the Spirit do his thing. This very concept rings true through todays challenge by James as well…. the challenge of patience.
