Becoming a Vehicle of Hope

Sep 25, 2011    Pastor Brian Long    Psalm 46

"Obviously there are a million reasons why missions fail. But, I think it's safe to say that many times missions fail basically because somebody, somewhere, at some point lost focus on what they were doing and why. There was a brain freeze or missed detail somewhere along the way and the mission objectives were not accomplished.

This is why each fall at the front end of our most active ministry season together, I think it's important to refresh and revive our mission as a church and it's objectives. It is so easy for churches like ours to simply get caught up in keeping the programing and machinery of ministry going that we lose focus on why we're doing all that we're doing. It guards against mission failure."
