Designed To Press On For Christ

Paul is once again explaining and defending his life and ministry among the Corinthians. And he begins by pointing out that his authenticity and validity as a genuine servant of God is evident by how he has conducted himself in the good times and in the bad times. In other words, he's saying, "You can tell I'm the real deal by how I have conducted myself in the great times and in the rotten times.

He has pressed on for Christ no matter what! This is our designer living principle today: Christians are designed to press on for Christ. Christians are designed for endurance, and persistence-to press on for Christ no matter what. And the key characteristic enabling him to face all that he has faced is endurance.
