In 1 Thessalonians 2:1-16, the apostle Paul reflects on how he and his companions ministered to the church at Thessalonica. Despite suffering, opposition, and false accusations, Paul and his team shared the gospel with pure motives, genuine care, and lives marked by integrity. The big idea is straightforward and challenging: as Christ followers, we are called to live lives that show we belong to Jesus. Paul's words were not just an account of his own ministry—they were an encouragement to the Thessalonian believers, and to us, to walk worthy of the One who has called us His own.
