New Life

There is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit has freed us from the law of sin and death. There is an ongoing battle between living according to the flesh (our old, sinful nature) versus living according to the Spirit. The key insight is that where we set our minds—what commands our attention and shapes our decisions—determines whether we experience spiritual death and distance from God or life and peace. This isn't just about our eternal destination; it's about fully enjoying the abundant life Christ offers us right now, today, as we cooperate with the Holy Spirit's work in us.
