We live in some dark, cold and bitter days. We turn on the news and see the atrocities happening in our world. But often the atrocities in our own lives weigh us down even more. What at encouragement we can receive from the author of Hebrews as he reminds us in Chapter 12. "we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us."
